Package Design | Class Project

For a class project I designed custom PR packaging for BYOMA skincare that elevated the unboxing experience for influencers and media. The project focused on creating memorable, on-brand packaging that showcased the products while reinforcing BYOMA's identity and values, turning each package into a shareable moment that extended the brand's reach.

Research and Sketches

Research and early sketch development for a BYOMA PR package concept. This phase focused on understanding brand values, visual language, and audience expectations while exploring structural forms and storytelling opportunities. These studies shaped the direction for the final package design and established a foundation for cohesive brand alignment.

Ideation

Refined initial sketches into structured concepts within Illustrator, translating loose ideas into polished visual directions. This stage solidified the core system, color strategy, and structural layout for the BYOMA PR package design.

Prototyping

Moved into hands-on prototyping by printing, assembling, and rebuilding the package multiple times. Each iteration helped refine structure, sizing, and durability—allowing the design to evolve into a precise, functional PR kit ready for final production.

Final Design

A fully developed PR package for BYOMA that merges research-driven design with vibrant brand storytelling. Through extensive ideation, hands-on prototyping, and thoughtful collateral, the final package reflects BYOMA’s mission while delivering a polished, engaging unboxing experience.

Included a custom thank-you card and a trifold insert highlighting key facts about BYOMA and their mission to strengthen the skin barrier through science-backed formulations.
